MyKids Intermediate Art

M.I.A (MyKids Intermediate Arts) Age 10 till 12

In our MIA programs, children dive into advanced techniques of painting and drawing that elevate their artistic skills to new heights. They explore concepts such as perspective drawing, which teaches them how to create depth and dimension in their artwork, allowing them to portray three-dimensional scenes on a two-dimensional surface. This foundational skill not only enhances their artistic abilities but also sharpens their observational skills.

Students also engage in mixed media art, where they learn to combine various materials and techniques to create dynamic and textured pieces. This approach encourages experimentation and helps them discover new ways to express their ideas, fostering a sense of innovation and creativity.

In addition, the MIA programs include exciting pop-up craft projects, where kids design and construct three-dimensional art that comes to life. This hands-on experience not only ignites their imagination but also develops their spatial awareness and fine motor skills.

As children immerse themselves in these advanced techniques, they experience a significant improvement in their concentration levels. The focused nature of the projects requires them to pay close attention to detail, enhancing their ability to concentrate for extended periods. This focus translates not only to their art but also positively impacts other areas of their learning.

By the end of the program, students not only gain mastery of advanced artistic techniques but also cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. They learn to approach challenges with a creative mindset, preparing them for future artistic endeavours and instilling a lifelong appreciation for the arts. Overall, the MIA programs provide a rich and rewarding experience that empowers young artists to reach their full potential.
